The Monarch starts with Meilech Lachterman who was born in Minkowce, Russia abt. 1864. Came over on Ellis Island March 21, 1911 Parents unknown at this time. Has a 2 brothers one was Srul, he was still in Russia in 1922. The other brother was Schmeil Lachsherman.  Schmeil  was married to Malke, they had a son Hersch (Harry) Lachsherman 2 daughters one was  Feige Lachterman and the other was Sura. They all came over to Ellis Island on 18 Aug 1922. Meilech married Rivka Mandel, born in Minkowce, Russia May 2, 1869 died in NYC March 2, 1934. Fathers name was John Mandel mothers name was Ida. Rivka has five brothers and sisters who came over on Ellis Island, dates unknown.
